Adriana Calderon

Adriana is the co-founder of Transfer Pricing Solutions Asia. Adriana has extensive international experience with Big Four and mid-tier firms advising multinational companies in the areas of corporate and international taxation across South America, United States, Australia and the Asia Pacific Region. In Asia Pacific, Adriana has specialised in the area of Transfer Pricing, building on her Latin American experience as a lawyer in Commercial and Tax legislation.

As a transfer pricing practitioner, Adriana has advised companies in the Asia Pacific Region across various industries including automotive, utilities, cable manufacturing, steel and consumer products industries. She has also participated in specialised transfer pricing projects involving debt pricing, pricing of financial transactions and negotiation of advanced pricing arrangements. Most recently she has also participated in transfer pricing planning projects to implement BEPS’s action plan and country by country reporting.

Adriana also enjoys teaching and is a regular speaker and facilitator of Transfer Pricing seminars and workshops. Aside from TAKX Solutions, she also conducts training for the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals. Adriana has also facilitated training sessions for CFOs, tax teams of large companies and consultancies, and tax executives at the Australian Taxation Office.

Adriana has been appointed as a representative of the Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals for the IRAS-SCTP Transfer Pricing Roundtables for 2024-2025.

The Transfer Pricing Roundtables are designed to engage external stakeholders in IRAS’ on-going review of its transfer pricing regime in Singapore. The group discuss and gather feedback from external stakeholders regarding the potential impact of proposed changes to the transfer pricing regime. They aim to discuss options for integrating these changes into the current tax/transfer pricing regime, with a focus on assisting businesses in managing the changes with minimal impact on their processes and minimising compliance costs without compromising the arm's length principle.

Additionally, the meetings involve sharing IRAS' perspective on current developments in transfer pricing matters and exchanging transfer pricing experiences between external participants and IRAS.

Adriana's commitment to this group involves providing input on issues affecting MNCs in Asia, identifying emerging concerns and seeking opportunities to enhance and improve transfer pricing administration.

As a representative, Adriana will effectively communicate outcomes to the transfer pricing community and maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and legislative compliance. Adriana's extensive expertise and dedication in transfer pricing make her a valuable asset to the group. Her efforts are instrumental in shaping the future of tax and transfer pricing administration, ensuring it's seamless and beneficial for Singapore Tax Payers, Multinational Companies in Asia and beyond.
