
Dr William Goh has more than 35 years of experience in the areas of import/export, international trade laws, shipping, logistics, distribution, warehousing, inventory control, containerisation, port operations, cargo insurance and claims, air and sea freight forwarding, ship chartering, trade documentation, international trade banking and financing, and supply chain management. He is currently running his own import/export and international trade consultancy, which was founded in 1989.
Dr Goh has done import/export and international trade business with over 75 countries across the world, and has travelled to more than 80 countries in the course of his business dealings.
An author of 8 books on shipping, he has over 30 years' experience in teaching and corporate training. Dr Goh has conducted hundreds of seminars and workshops in shipping, logistics and international trade both in Singapore and overseas. To date, Dr goh has trained more than 32,000 participants.
Dr Goh has provided training to institutions such as Singapore Confederation of Industries, Singapore Polytechnic, People's Association and many other trade associations/confederations, universities, and government organisations. He is a regular speaker at conferences, conventions and symposiums locally and abroad on topics relating to international trade, shipping and logistics.
